Getting Started: Your Leadership Structure

GroupVitals is really great at letting you setup your leadership structure to reflect on how you do groups. Here's how to do that:

Step 1: Click on the gear icon in the top right and click "LEADERSHIP" from the drop-down (admins only).

Note: The roles are laid out in a hierarchy all the way from a group apprentice to a senior coach.

Step 2: Toggle on or off each leadership role that you have in your groups program.

Notes:

You can rename each leadership title to reflect your organization's terminology, such as renaming a group leader to a community leader or a coach to a champion.

For most organizations, coaches or senior coaches are often staff members.

Step 3: Give someone a leadership role. You’ll first want to either add that person to the database if they don’t exist. If they do exist, let’s go to their profile by first doing a search for them on the All People page. Next, click on their name to go to their profile.

Step 4: In their profile menu, click the "Edit" tab and scroll down to the bottom and toggle on the Group Leader role. You can always remove someone’s role by toggling this to OFF.
