Add people into a group

You can add people to a group in several ways:

1. Directly from the group's profile (easiest).

2. Directly from the person's profile.

3. As a prospect via the Prospect Pipeline.

4. From the GroupFinder.

5. Have us add them in bulk for you.

Read below about each of the 4 ways:

1. Add Directly From The Group's Profile

1. In the top nav, click on "GROUPS" to go to the main groups page.

2. Find the group and click on it's name.

3. Click the "Add Person to Group"in the outline box at the top of the group's profile.

4. Do a search for the person in the pop-up and select their name and role, then click add. If they don't exist, you can click the blue link at the bottom of the box to add them as a new person into the database, then from there, you can add them into the group.

2. Add Directly From The Person's Profile

1. In the top nav, click "PEOPLE" and click "ALL PEOPLE" from the drop-down.

2. Do a search for the person's name in the top search box. If they don't appear, then click the blue "Add Person" button to add them into the database first.

3. Once you find the person on the page, click on their name.

4. On the person's profile, click the "Add to Group" box near the top.

5. In the box, do a search for the group's name. If it doesn't exist yet, click the blue add new group button at the bottom of the search box and add the group first.

6. Select the group name, then click the add button.

3. Add As A Prospect Via The Prospect Pipeline

 Follow the  instructions on this page to add a new prospect.

4. Add From the GroupFinder

(This only works if you have the GroupFinder turned on)

1. From the top navigation, click on "CONNECTIONS" and click "VIEW GROUPFINDER" from the drop-down.

2. Find the group on the GroupFinder (list view is easiest in this case).

3. Click to view the group's profile.

3. Fill out the contact form on the right with the prospects information. Note that the leader will receive an email about this.

5. Have Us Add Them For You

Send us a spreadsheet with a list of all of your group members and we'll add them for you, free of church with about a 24-hour weekday turn around. Here's what to include, if you can:

- Full name
- Email
- Cell #
- If they are a leader
- Name of group they are in (or the group ID #)
- ID # for them in your main database/CRM (we store this and include it in exports, making for more seamless imports back into your CRM).
