FAQ: How do I set the max # of people in a group or for all groups?

Groups can have their max capacity set to either a specific number or unlimited at the account level and an individual group level. By default, it's set to unlimited.

How to set the max # at the account level (for all groups)

1. Click on the gear icon in the top-right

2. Click on Groups

3. Toggle ON or OFF "Limit the max # of people in a group" and set your max # if you are setting a limit.

How to set the max # at the group level

1. Be sure the "Limit the max # of people in a group" is enabled in the account settings > groups

2. Navigate to the groups profile

3. Click on the Edit Group tab

4. Go to the "Location Details" section and select a new Max # of people for the group (it can't exceed the # set at the account level)

What happens when a group reaches max capacity

1. The group is automatically set as "full."

2. It will be removed from the public GroupFinder (unless the setting is enabled for the GroupFinder to show full groups)

3. No one can add a person to the group unless they first increase it's max capacity or remove someone.
