Turning off Attendance

If you need to turn off attendance tracking for your groups, you can easily change that. Here's how to disable attendance:

Turn off attendance for individual groups:

  1. Go to the group's profile page.
  2. From here there are two ways you can turn off the group's attendance:
  3. Under the "Attendance" tab in the menu, you can toggle attendance to "off."
  4. Under the "Edit Group" tab. Underneath the "About" section for the group, you can toggle off "Track Attendance."

Turn off attendance for all groups:

If you want to disable tracking attendance for all groups:

  1. Login under an admin account.
  2. In the top navigation, click on the gear/cog icon and then in the drop-down, click on Add-Ons.
  3. In the add-ons section of the settings area, find the Attendance add-on.
  4. For the attendance add-on, click the sub-menu (three vertical white dots) and from the drop-down, click on Disable.

Important things to note:

If there are any past attendance reports that have not been filled out before you turned off attendance, leaders will still be able to fill them out after you disable attendance. This means you may still receive attendance notifications for a while after you disable attendance. The reports are tracked and when attendance is enabled again, those attendance reports will be counted.

If the attendance add-on is disabled, you won't be able to view past attendance reports.
