Setting up Google Analytics to Track Visits

1. You'll first either need to add a new account or new property specifically for tracking visits to your groupvitals.com account.

2. Find your property's tracking ID #:

1. Sign in to your Analytics account.

2. Click Admin.

3. Select an account from the menu in the ACCOUNT column.

4. Select a property from the menu in the PROPERTY column.

5. Under PROPERTY, click Tracking Info > Tracking Code. Your Tracking ID is displayed at the top of the page.

3. Copy your property's tracking ID #

4. In GroupVitals, go to Settings > Account > and find the field labeled "Google Analytics ID" and paste in the property ID #. Be sure it does not include the UA- in the beginning, we automatically add that for you.

5. Click save.

6. To test that it's working, go back to Google analytics from step 2 and there's an option to send test traffic and it will show you if it's collecting data or not. If not, double-check your property ID # and give it a minute. If that still doesn't work, you can email our support and we'll help  you out.
