In what ways can we send text messages?

A group's members - An account admin or group leader can send a text to a group via the group's profile.

Individual people - Navigate to someone's profile and click the sub menu icon in the top right to see the option to send a text or email to someone. 

Can I send out mass text messages to my leaders or other groups of people?

Not at the moment. You can only send out a mass email in the Messages area. You can only send out a text message to a person via their profile or to a group via the group's profile. However, some people will create a group that contains all of their leaders and use that to track their training attendance as well as send them emails and texts.

Can people reply to a text message?

No. The message is sent individually to each person. We're not aware of a technology that allows us to send out a group text (and do it affordably for everyone).

Someone forgot to opt-in to group texts, can I resend them the opt-in text?

There's no need to re-send an opt-in text for group messages.

At any time someone can reply YES to the original opt-in text they received from GroupVitals. 

If they deleted the original opt-in text, then at anytime they can opt-in by texting the word YES to "629-206-6309"
