How to Create an Archived Group Type in F1

Creating an archived group type in F1 will help keep track of all of your past groups that people have been in that you no longer wish to sync with GroupVitals. Here's how to create an archived group type in F1:

  1. Click on the "Groups" tab in the navigation bar and select "Group Types"
  2. Under the Actions bar, click "New Group Type"
  3. Label your new Group Type "Archived Groups"
  4. Select your desired Rights, Views, and Permissions on the following three pages
  5. Click "Save Group Type"
  6. Once you've created your archived group type, select any of your groups from your other group types by clicking "manage/move groups"

If you later decide that you want an archive group to be active again, you'll want move that group out of the F1 archived group type and back into its original F1 group type that you're syncing with GroupVitals. Be sure that you keep (Archived) at the end of the group name. Then, in GroupVitals, go and unarchive that group from their edit profile section. Double check in F1 that the (Archived) was removed from the group's name.
