Why Can't Leaders See their Groups?
If your group leaders are reaching out to let you know they're not able to view their group on their GroupVitals account, there could be a few different reasons it's not showing up. Here are some things for you to check:
- Go to the leader's profile and look to see if the leader tab is greyed out. If so, it's because their leader role has been toggled off. This is a really easy fix! For leaders experiencing this issue, go into their profile and under the Edit tab, toggle on their role as "leader." Be sure to click "Save All Changes!"
- Check the leader's profile to ensure they have an email address. It may have been removed accidentally or changed. If it was changed, you'll want to confirm the new email with the leader.
- Double-check that their role in the group is that of a leader. It might be accidentally set to "member," in which case the leader would not have access to it. To update the leader's role, you'll go into the group's profile page, and under the leader's name select "edit" then "change position" and update their role in the group to leader. Click the "save" button and you're all set!
- Check to see if the leader has a duplicate profile by going to People > All People and do a search for the full name or just their last name. It's common for this to happen and the incorrect, duplicate profile was the one that was added as the leader of the group. In this case, we'd recommend merging both together into one master record to avoid any future issues.
