CCB: Syncing Group Members & Leaders

We sync all group members and leaders with CCB (the group roster). That means:

- Whenever a person is added to a group in CCB, they will sync over to GroupVitals. 

- Whenever a person is added to a group in GroupVitals, they will sync over to CCB.

Here are some important details to know:

What group roles we sync with CCB:

- Group Members

- Group Leaders

- Assistant Group Leaders (sync as a Leader in GroupVitals)

- Main Leader

What we can't sync with CCB:

CCB only allows us to sync someone over as either a group member or leader. That means the following unique group roles cannot be sync'd with CCB. 

However, the people who have these roles will sync over as members:

- Prospects

- Apprentice Leaders

- Hosts

- Co-Leaders

- Group Admins

Guests won't sync until they become a member. We're considering making an optional setting to allow guests to sync as members. Contact us to add your vote for this feature.

Main Leaders

In CCB, each group has one "main leader" associated with it and that leader can only be changed in CCB due to CCB now allowing 3rd parties like us to change or remove this role. 

GV isn't setup this way. Instead, it's setup to allow as many leaders as you want for a group. Which is great for when you're using GV but not with CCB.

GV will show you which person is the "main leader" in CCB so that you're at least aware of who they are.

If you need to change or remove the "main leader" for a group, you'll need to manually do it in CCB and manually do it in GV.
