CCB: Exporting People from CCB

Before you setup the integration between CCB and GV, it's important that any existing person in your GV database has their CCB ID # stored in GV's database. Otherwise, GV won't be able to sync their information with CCB.

You'll need to do a .csv export from CCB and email it to us.

Here's what to make sure to include for each person in your CCB export:

  • CCB ID #
  • Family ID #
  • First Name
  • Middle Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Home #
  • Cell #
  • Campus (if you are multi-campus)

To export people from CCB:

  1. Login to CCB and in the left nav, click on "Reports & Metrics"
  2. Under System Reports, click on the "People" tab.
  3. Click "Export Individuals or Change Log."
  4. In the export window, keep the default type selection to "Export Individuals."
  5. Select all of your campuses (if multi-campus).
  6. Click "Run Report" to have it generate your .csv file for you to download
  7. Open up the .csv file and remove any columns and rows you don't want our team at GV to see data for. For example, inactive people records.
  8. Email [email protected] with the .csv file

We'll then import them into your GV account and match existing people records in GV from the .csv based upon their first and last name. If there are people who share the same first and last name, then we'll match based upon their email, cell #, home #, or middle name. If we're unable to find a match, we'll email you back a .csv report of those folks, for you to review and send us back their CCB ID #.

Please give us 24-48 business hours to complete this for you.

Once you have a CCB ID # assigned to all of your existing people records in GV, then you can proceed with setting up the CCB Integration.
