Archived vs Inactive Groups
You can make a group inactive when you have a group that is taking a break for a period of time (for the holidays, summer, etc..).
This turns off the group's attendance, email notifications, and does not take into account the groups' attendance metrics that could affect your overall group metrics.
Once the group is back in session, you can make the group active again via the group's profile page under the "edit group" tab. You can read more about best practices for making a group inactive here.
We recommend only archiving a group when it no longer meets, or was created by accident.
Archived groups will not show up by default under your list of groups or counted in any metrics on the dashboard. You can read more about archiving groups here!
